Take Action to support Global Tibet Advocacy Day
The number of Tibetans in Tibet who have immolated themselves had surpassed 50; that’s 51 individuals who have set themselves on fire as an act of protest against China’s brutal and systematic assault on the Tibetan people’s freedom.
Tibet advocates around the world are meeting Foreign Ministries face-to-face, to press our governments to come together in strong, visible, coordinated, multi-lateral diplomatic action that will compel China to revoke its deeply flawed Tibet policies.
You can strengthen the efforts of those Tibet campaigners pushing our governments to Stand Up For Tibet. Please send an urgent message to world leaders supporting the call to initiate multilateral action; action that we believe is our best chance of holding China accountable for its atrocities in Tibet.
As China’s once-a-decade leadership change looms and all eyes are on Beijing, we have an opportunity to ensure that Tibet shares this spotlight – to highlight the oppression inflicted by China’s leaders and support Tibetans in their drive to free themselves from China’s rule. Sign and share the urgent action with everyone you know and help Tibetans gain the freedom they deserve.
